Acetate box template and tutorial

Supplies need:
1 sheet of 7" x 9" clear Acetate (Tac item #F47 - $3.95
for 6 sheets)
1 sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" colored cardstock
scrap of white cardstock
1/4" Wonder Tape (TAC item #F241 - $3.50 for a 15' roll)
pop dots (TAC item #289 - $3.50)
Scor-pal (TAC item #F358 - $41.95)
scissors and paper trimmer
colored pencils or markers
Stamp of your choice (stamp used here is "In Bloom" - AACK! This stamp is retired! Another great choice would be "Simply Devine" - TAC R-2702 $16.95. If you simply MUST have this set, email me and I will search it out for you!)
Noir Palette ink (TAC item #TT220 $6.00)
Cropadile (TAC item #K100 $29.95) or a 3/16" hole punch
Ribbon of choice (I used ribbon from the Penelope set - TAC item #B226 $4.95)

Instructions:

Cut acetate sheet to 8 1/2"x 3 1/2" and score using your scor-pal according to template (top picture) below: (click on template to see entire thing!)

Then cut two 3" x 3" squares from your colored cardstock and score using template below (bottom picture):

Cut on the red lines.

Fold the acetate into a box shape and adhere it with a strip of Wonder tape along the outside of the 1/2" section. Set aside.

Fold the two cardstock squares along the scored lines to create your box top and bottom. Adhere flaps with small pieces of Wonder tape. On the box bottom, place strips of Wonder tape around the inside lip. Set acetate box into the bottom.

Punch a hole in the middle of two of the sides of the box top. Place top on acetate box and use a pen to mark the acetate where the holes are to be punched. Punch a hole in the acetate. This is where you are going to thread your ribbon through. Cut enough ribbon to thread through and form a bow.

Stamp your image on the white cardstock scrap. Color as desired and then cut out. Adhere to acetate with adhesive and pop dot.

Fill your box with treats and enjoy!

This is just so cute Misti! I did LOL when I read about your retired stamp! That happens to me all the time! :)

I so wish I could have been there on Monday night. This inspection is putting a crimp in my craft schedule. Humph.
